for Blocking for Access of Information by Public) Rules, 2009 under section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 was held on 24.08.2010 at Electronics Niketan. New Delhi to examine the Request sent by Government of Maharashtra to block the website [www.betfair.com](http://www.betfair.com/){.external-link}. The Committee also noted the reply from Cyber Crime Cell, Mumbai that no case has been registered against [www.betfair.com](http://www.betfair.com/){.external-link}. Further, no details suggesting the \"impact\" of the said site on public order has been made available by the State Government.
